HARTSELLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Hartselle Utilities customers are once again allowed to use water normally. The company sent out an update just before 9:30 a.m., saying crews have finally been able to restore power to the Water Booster Stations on Hartselle Mountain.

Flooding on Wednesday night knocked that station offline, and led the utility to ask customers to conserve water.

Hartselle Utilities issued a statement reading:

“HU appreciates everyone’s cooperation and conservation efforts in assisting during this time. HU would like to thank Rodney and James Howell with Howell Electric; The City of Hartselle Fire Department and Public Works; and the dedicated employees of HU for their assistance in this matter.”
