Madison County inmates can now make commissary purchases amid ‘IT issues'

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Inmates can now make commissary purchases, according to a tweet posted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

For the last week, the sheriff’s office has been battling “IT issues.”

Those problems shut down internal computers, telephones, and the online jail roster.

If you need to add money to an inmate’s account at the jail, you can only do it by using a money order.
