Suspect charged in fatal overnight shooting in Harvest

HARVEST, Ala. (WAFF) - A Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson has identified the person killed early Sunday morning in Harvest.

The victim was 38-year-old Keelan Andrews of Huntsville. The spokesperson said Andrews was found dead in the middle of the road with a gunshot wound to the chest.

MCSO do have the shooting suspect in custody, he is 18-year-old Montrea Trevius Corbett, of Harvest. Corbett has been charged with capital murder. His bond is set at $75,000.

Investigators determined Corbett shot at Andrews from a car.

Deputies first responded to the shooting on the 100 block of Cloverbrook Dr. in Harvest just after midnight.

According to a tweet from MCSO, the shooting stemmed from an argument over fireworks.
