Scattered showers, thunderstorms remain possible Tuesday evening

WAFF News Nightly Weather

It’s been a hot and muggy day so we have plenty of fuel for a few strong storms with locally heavy rain, frequent lightning and some isolated damaging wind gusts. The weather will settle down again overnight.

We could see a few meteors through a partly cloudy sky late tonight. Storm chances will be on repeat for the remainder of the work week.

Each day they will form in different areas and as they weaken new storms will fire up along the boundaries they lay down. It will remain hot an humid into the weekend with isolated afternoon storms. Just slightly cooler later next week. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 90s with morning lows in the lower 70s.
